Langtang Gosainkunda Trek is the great combination of the remote and stunning valley of Langtang with high mountain lakes of Gosainkunda. The trek also allows you to explore the verdant Lantang National Park and takes you to the end of the valley to enjoy the spectacular Himalayan vistas.
Travelling through the Trishuli River to the north of Kathmandu, we drive along the Trishuli Bazaar, Dunche to Syabrubensi – the starting point of Gosainkunda Trekking route. Alternatively, you can begin Gosainkunda Trek from Sundarijal and end at Syabrubensi.
From Syabru Bensi, we then hike east into the Langtang valley crossing river several times. We cross dense forest of oak and rhododendron and even cross moraine. Gosainkunda Trek from Kathmandu features all the elements that remote Himalaya region has to offer.
